Apple of my Eyes!!!
Hey buds,
I'm back with a card. I actually made 2 more cards earlier but can't post them as of now. I want the lovely people to see them first for whom I made those cards. So back to this one.
My hubby's crazy about Apple (I mean the Apple Inc products) and so am I now. So this one's specially for him. I have this paper which matches so much with the earlier Apple logo. So I chose this as the background, punched the black strip with fiskar border punch and inked it using Versamark dazzle champagne ink. If you look closely it has a glittery effect to it. I used it on the two earlier cards as well and it made the cards sparkle without glitter. Simply love it. A close up of the border:
It has no sentiments, didn't feel like putting up anything beside that Apple as I wanted that to be the highlight of the card. I added the twine as the card came out very simple so just wanted to jazz it up. Here's the close-up of the Apple.
The Apple and the leaf is hand drawn and cut in different color papers red and green then ran the glue runner generously on it and placed the rhinestones using a plucker. It took me about 30 mins to complete the Apple. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Smiles :)
