Love of paper scraps..... and a good news :)

Heya peeps,

Today I'm gonna share two cards I made with scraps. Well almost scraps! I bet none of us crafters want to throw even the most useless piece of pattern papers and same goes for me. I have pink paislee's secret crush paper pack and I didn't even wanted to throw the cute tiny squares papers that came as the cover. So I used them to make cards and they came out fabulous. Here's what I did: I cut them and then adhered them to cardstock. After that then rounded the corners.

I had seen a card at Geny Cassady blog. My bad, I don't have the link for exact post! That card is the inspiration for the first card I made. The heart is hand-cut, glittered and sealed with glossy accents.

After I finished the first card I was still left with the so they were used on the second card. The second card is a 4.5x4.5 inch card.

I have been because I was in the process of applying for my MS in US of A and the good news is I have been admitted to a prestigious school in Bay Area, yaay!!!!! I'll be taking off for MS in Cloud Computing next year. I'm super duper excited for it. More so because US means craft supplies, yippie!!!! Besides this there were a host of other things too and finally I'm free, free to craft, sew do anything..... It's not that I haven't been crafting but now I'll have more time. So expect more of me around now.

I'm entering this for Make it Monday "Anything Goes"
Till we meet again, stay happy!!!

  4. Another two fab cards, great use of your scraps. Thanks once more for sharing with us at Make It Monday.
It would be great if you turned off the word verification. It took me 5 tries before I managed to post my comment on your previous entry. It make it very difficult for people on Design Teams to get to everyone's blogs if we have to spend a lot of time trying to work out what the letter's are each time.
    Hugs,
    Sandy
